Sewage Disposal Design Services
Design and permitting of residential sewage disposal systems (330+ Gallons Per Day) and large sewage disposal systems (15,000+ gallons per day). Sewage disposal designs are designed pursuant to the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MADEP) regulations, Title 5, and local Board of Health agencies. As part of the sewage disposal systems design and permitting, Whitman & Bingham provides construction services to assure that each system is constructed as permitted by State and Local approving authorities. As part of Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection regulations, Title 5, each sewage disposal system is required to be inspected prior to the transfer of title. Whitman & Bingham has MADEP certified Inspectors to assist in the inspection process. Soils evaluation and Percolation testing are required by MADEP in the design of subsurface sewage disposal systems. Each system requires a MADEP approved Soil Evaluator to conduct percolation tests, and deep observation soil tests in order to verify the suitability of soil for a sewage disposal system.
